Front Runner TV to Broadcast WPT Events Free of Charge

The events within the World Poker Tour (WPT) are to be broadcast in the UK on the Front Runner Channel, which is a free-to-air one. With the WPT events available on the channel, WPT lovers will be given the opportunity to watch the latest tournaments directly at home.

The fact that the WPT coverage is to be added on Front Runner TV is expected to be well-received by UK-based poker fans, especially due to the fact that they have very limited choice of poker on TV channels up to date.

Front Runner TV’s Ryan Scarratt commented on the news, saying that the entire team of the television channel was very happy with the fact that they were to bring the UK-residing customers with the events of the World Poker Tour totally free of charge. He also revealed that the WPT had a massive number of fans in the country, so he was absolutely sure that people would enjoy watching the shows.

Up to date, there is no other dedicated sports channel that airs such events for free on the territory of the country, apart from Front Runner TV. The latter is particularly popular with the fact that it airs various lifestyle and documentaries for a great variety of sports and even X Games. Now the WPT events are also to become part of the content that is broadcast on the channel.

The World Poker Tour is one of the most popular poker events up to date. It has already been aired in countries such as the US, where the televised events are getting a warm welcome from local viewers. Now, with the WPT events going live on the Front Runner TV channel, British poker fans will be able to watch the WPT directly in their homes without being charged any additional fees for that.

The World Poker Tour events will be broadcast from midnight Monday through Saturday. In addition, every Sunday there will be a marathon showing from noon to 6:00 PM. Currently, UK customers can find the Front Runner TV on a number of channels, including Sky (SD) and Sky (HD), UK DTT, Freesat and YouView. Unfortunately, the customers of Virgin Media will not be available to getting access to Front Runner. However, considering the fact that there are about 13 million subscribers of the brand, some changes will be brought and these viewers will also be able to watch the WPT events in the near future.
